46% Syrah, 30% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache and 4% Petite Sirah.
The 2021 Sisu is flashy and vibrant in character, with a burst of crushed cherries and blackberries complemented by hints of baking spice and mint. This is a total pleasure on the palate. Velvety in texture, yet spry with ripe red berry fruits and tactile mineral tones swirling throughout. Hints of sour citrus add zesty tension toward the close. While structured and long, the Sisu keeps the mouth watering for more. A pleasantly bitter tinge and sweet tannins linger on. In a word; fabulous. 95 pts

The 2021 Sisu is composed of 46% Syrah, 30% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache and 4% Petite Sirah. It has intense scents of redcurrant, iron, dried tobacco, black tea leaves, underbrush and floral notes. The medium-bodied palate offers restrained, mineral-driven fruit, chalky tannins and mouthwatering acidity, and it has a long, spicy finish. It will benefit from a few years’ evolution in bottle. 94 pts
